About the Artist:

Mystical Bog Oak was created by artist and sculptor Monica, whose work explores the transformation of ancient Irish bog oak into sculptural objects and wearable art.

Working with a material preserved for millennia beneath the Irish landscape, each piece is individually carved by hand and guided by the natural form of the wood itself.

Rather than creating identical products, the focus is on producing rare and deeply individual works where texture, age, and organic imperfections become part of the final composition.

Inspired by mythology, ancient symbolism, nature, and the passage of time, each creation is intended to feel timeless somewhere between artifact, sculpture, and contemporary design.

Every piece is handmade in Ireland using authentic ancient bog oak.
