A one-of-a-kind carved necklace handcrafted by me in Ireland from genuine ancient Irish Bog Oak.
The pendant has a bold, sculptural form that highlights the natural grain, deep colour and character of the ancient wood. Each piece of Bog Oak is naturally different, making this necklace completely individual.
The pendant is finished by hand with linseed oil to enhance the rich, dark tones of the wood while preserving its natural character.
It is paired with a 3 mm genuine leather cord and finished with a stainless steel bayonet clasp.

About Irish Bog Oak
Irish Bog Oak is ancient wood that has been naturally preserved for thousands of years beneath Ireland’s peat bogs. The unique conditions within the bog gradually transform the wood, creating the deep brown to almost black tones for which Bog Oak is known.
Irish Bog Oak can be thousands of years old, and its natural grain, colour and character mean that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Please handle your necklace with care. Avoid wearing it while showering or swimming and keep it away from prolonged contact with water, perfumes and chemicals to help preserve the wood, leather and finish.
