Smoky Quartz is a powerful grounding and protective stone, often associated with balance, strength, and clarity. It is believed to help release negative energy, emotional blockages, and stress, replacing them with calmness and focus. This crystal promotes a strong connection to the Earth, making it ideal for grounding and stabilizing during times of uncertainty.
Spiritually, Smoky Quartz is seen as a stone of transformation, helping to detoxify the mind and body while encouraging personal growth. Its smoky hues symbolize resilience and the ability to rise above challenges, offering a sense of empowerment and renewal to its wearer.
Bronzite is a grounding and protective stone that promotes confidence, decisiveness, and harmony. Associated with the root and sacral chakras, it helps stabilize emotions, reflect negativity, and encourage a calm, balanced mindset. Known as the "stone of courtesy," it fosters strength, resilience, and a positive outlook.
Please handle with care and avoid wearing in the shower or while swimming to maintain the quality of the handmade piece of jewellery. It is advised to keep the necklace away from any water or dampness if possible. ♡
-----------------------
Bog-wood is a material from trees that have been buried in peat bogs and preserved from decay by the acidic and anaerobic bog conditions, sometimes for hundreds or even thousands of years. The wood is usually stained brown by tannins dissolved in the acidic water. Irish bog-oak usually ranges in age from 3000 to 8000 years old. The Irish climate was warmer and drier at that time in our history and when the climate changed to a wetter and damper era the roots lost their grip in the soggy soil and fell to the ground. The centuries-long process of the oak residing in the earth results in colour alteration from golden-brown to completely black. No two pieces of wood will ever be exactly the same colour.
Like no two pieces of bog oak being the same, each piece of jewellery is handcrafted to be completely bespoke, giving it a rustic finish. Designed with care, each piece is lightly brushed with linseed oil to enhance the oak’s rich colour.
